Charity drive
St Agnes PU College organised a creatively curated Carnival Thrift Sale during the
festive season, bringing together students and staff in a meaningful initiative to support
charitable causes. Students donated clothes and books that were in mint condition,
which were sold to raise funds for charity.
As part of the outreach efforts, students donated groceries and household essentials that
were distributed to various orphanages and charitable trusts - Noorani Yatheem Khana,
Ullal; Balikashram, Kankanady; Pachim Rehab Charitable Trust, Kotekar; Bhagini
Samaj, Mangala Devi.
The highlight of the occasion was the spectacular carnival held on 20 December, which
began with a cultural show on the open-air stage. The campus came alive with stalls
offering games, mouthwatering food, intricate mehndi designs, face painting and scores
of other attractions. Enthusiastic PTA members were an integral part of the event and
pitched in with their own stall.
The event was organised under the guidance of the Principal Sr Norine Dsouza and Vice
Principal Sr Janet Sequiera, with the dedicated efforts of the convenors Mrs Ramya,
Mr Mathew, and Mr Jeevan, along with the staff and students of the college.
