‘Debfest’ English Debate Competition

St Agnes PU College conducted ‘Debfest’ English Debate Competition on 24 August at 3.30pm in the Conference Hall. The topics were
I PUC – Beauty Pageants empower women or objectify them
II PUC – Are influencers real role models for students?
Around 25 students in total participated well and used the opportunity to showcase their talents. The event in-charge Sr Maria Sannidhi and Faliha Fathima, Student Editor motivated the students and made the event methodical. Mr Mathew and Ms Sahana who were the judges also contributed their part by making the competition lively and apt through their questioning skills, igniting students answering capacity. The event was successful through the participants and their skills. The winners are:
