Awareness Session on Cyber Crime and Drug Abuse for II PU students
St Agnes PU College Organizes Awareness Session on Cyber Crime and Drug
Abuse
St Agnes PU College recently conducted an insightful session on cyber crime
and drug abuse, featuring Mrs. Lydia Lobo, Administrator of Link De-
Addiction Centre. Mrs. Lobo shared her expertise, highlighting how seemingly
harmless actions can lead to habitual and life-threatening consequences.
She emphasized the long-term repercussions of lodging an FIR, including
difficulties in obtaining visas, jobs, or life partners due to the permanent record.
Mrs. Lobo stressed the importance of being vigilant and smart while using
social media to ensure a safe and healthy future.
The program was attended by Vice Principal Sr. Janet Sequeira, Program
Coordinator Dr. Tressie Menezes, faculty, and second PUC students. Students
Christina welcomed the gathering, and Zubiya skillfully compered the event.
