English Debate Competition

The English Debate competition on the topic "Freebies used for political agenda should be banned" for II PUC and "Do violent video games lead to violence in real life?" for I PUC was held on 18 August 2023. The students spoke for and against the statement and they were very appreciative of the competition as it helped hone their public speaking skills.

Debate competitions are an excellent platform for students as it encourages research and boosts their confidence and thereby play a significant role in personal development.

The winners of the English Debate Competition are as follows:
Rashmi 1 CSBA has won the 3rd place, the II prize goes to Ruth Abigail I CSBA, and the undisputed winner is Ananya I BEBA. Sakshi, II PCMC-D batch has garnered the third place. KhadeejaNoha from II BEBA has secured the second place and Aisha Amani, II BEBA has notched top honours by securing the first place in the closely contested competition. Congratulations to all the winners.
