St Agnes PU College, Mangalore celebrated ‘Hindi Divas’

‘Hindi Diwas’ reminds us of the importance of our mother tongue. This day inspires us to embrace our language with pride and take it forward. Hindi is the soul of our culture and identity.

St Agnes PU College, Mangalore celebrated ‘Hindi Divas’ with great enthusiasm and fanfare. The programme consisted of mesmerizing activities that included an invocation to the divine, an enthralling dance performance, singing, a humorous skit capturing the theme of “Athithi Devo Bhava”, and a poetry recitation that captured the various seasons of the year.

Sonaly Shainy Ferrao welcomed the gathering and Aliyah Mujahid proposed the vote of thanks. Archana Devadiga was the emcee for the programme. Sr Norine DSouza, principal, Mrs Anitha G Shenoy, HOD of Hindi Dept., Hindi Lecturers Mr Jeevan B R and Mrs Shyla Pinto, teaching and non-teaching staff along with the students were present on the occasion.
