Felicitation To Distinguished Alumna Miss Rithuparna

St Agnes PU College, Mangalore felicitated its distinguished alumna Miss Rithuparna on 15 th July 2025 held at the college auditorium. Celebrating her exceptional achievements in the field of Robotics and Automation. A student par excellence, Rithuparna’s journey is marked by innovation, leadership and global representations. She developed cutting-edge solutions to aid arecanut farmers, addressing key challenges in agricultural sustainability. Her innovation and commitment to problem solving earned her gold and silver medals at an international summit in Goa. Her determination caught the attention of Rolls-Royce, where after facing multiple challenges and interviews, she secured a placement offer with a package of ₹ 72.3 LPA. She currently works in their Jet Engine Manufacturing Unit and is set to join the Texas branch soon.

The Principal in her address, expressed pride in Rithuparna’s growth and lauded her as a role model for students aspiring to achieve excellence. Her journey is a shining example of what our students can achieve with the right support and values. We believe her accomplishments will inspire many more young minds at St Agnes PU College and beyond to pursue their dreams with courage and conviction.

In her heartfelt speech, Rithuparna acknowledged the institution for shaping her communication skills, self-belief and academic strength. Her proud father Mr Saresh shared that whatever she has achieved in life, she owes it all to the nurturing foundation of St Agnes PU College.

The programme began with a soulful prayer song. Mrs Shailaja, HOD, Dept. of Kannada compered the programme and eloquently presented Rithuparna’s inspiring journey. Mrs Venetia, HOD Dept. of Chemistry welcomed the gathering. The felicitation ceremony was witnessed by Sr Dr Maria Roopa AC, The Joint Secretary, St Agnes Institutions, Sr Norine DSouza, The Principal, Sr Janet Sequeira, The Vice Principal, Mrs Supriya Shenoy, Dean, Science Stream, Staff, Vividya Faculty and students.
