Career Guidance Program,"Navigator"
* Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.
In line with this profound quote, St. Agnes PU College recently conducted a
comprehensive Career Guidance Program, Navigator, specifically designed for second
PUC science students and their parents on 15th July 2025. The program aimed to provide
valuable insights and guidance to help students make informed decisions about their
future careers.
The program featured a distinguished panel of expert from Draw My Career, Mr.
Naveen Paul and team. The panel shared their expertise and experiences with the students
and parents, and provided valuable guidance on various aspects of career development.
The experts emphasized the importance of making the right career choice at the right age
and provided guidance on selecting a career path that aligns with one's personality and
interests. They also highlighted the significance of choosing a good college that promotes
the subject of study and discussed the benefits of internships, scholarships, and
competitive exams. The session provided insights on how to navigate these opportunities
and make the most of them.
A key aspect of the program was a personality assessment test, which helped students
identify professions that best suited their personality traits. The students and parents
actively participated in the program, asking numerous questions and clarifying their
doubts. The interactive session provided a valuable opportunity for them to gain insights
into the world of careers and make informed decisions about their future.
Mr. Ashwin, HOD of the Physics Department, was the convener of the program, and
Mrs. Vijaylakshmi delivered the welcome speech. Ms. Sahana, efficiently coordinated
the program as the Master of Ceremony. The Science Secretary Ms Zainab Zuhi
proposed vote of thanks.
Overall, the "Navigator" program was a resounding success, and St. Agnes PU College is
commended for its efforts to empower students with the knowledge and skills necessary
to make informed decisions about their future careers. The program was well-organized,
informative, and engaging, and it is expected to have a positive impact on the students
future career choices.
