St. Agnes PU College organised an insightful career guidance programme, “Navigator &
Career Expo” was organised for II PUC students of St Agnes PU College and their parents on
18th & 24th of August. The programme was designed to equip students with valuable
knowledge and expert guidance enabling them to make well-informed choices about their
higher education and future careers. The programme focused on broadening students’
awareness of diverse career pathways and helping them make informed decisions about their
academic and professional future.
The programme featured an esteemed team of career experts from “Draw My Career,” led by
Naveen Paul. The experts interacted with students and parents, sharing their knowledge,
experiences, and valuable insights into various career opportunities and pathways.
The session focused on helping students understand the importance of making thoughtful
career decisions at the appropriate stage. The experts encouraged them to explore career
options based on their individual interests, strengths, and personality traits. They also
emphasised the need to choose an institution that supports academic growth and provides a
strong foundation in the chosen field. Further, the speaker introduced students to opportunities
such as internships, scholarships, and competitive examinations, highlighting how these can
contribute to their academic and professional development and provided an overview of the
various entrance examinations available for different courses.
A significant highlight of the programme was the personality assessment test, which enabled
students to gain a better understanding of their individual traits and explore career options that
suited their strengths and interests. Students and parents participated enthusiastically in the
session, engaging with the experts and seeking clarification on various career-related
concerns. The interactive programme offered them a meaningful platform to explore diverse
career possibilities and gain the confidence and clarity needed to make informed choices
about their future.
Mrs Venitia, HOD of the Chemistry department, Mr Mathew, HOD of Commerce Department
& Mrs Olivia, HOD of Humanities Department were the conveners of the programme.
Ms Raina warmly welcomed the gathering and Ms Venessa & Rifa Roshan compered the
event. The programme came to a close with vote of thanks delivered by Yutika R Amin &
Samantha DSouza.
The programme concluded on a highly positive note, leaving students and parents with greater
clarity and awareness about the opportunities ahead. Through expert guidance, interactive
discussions, and practical insights, the programme encouraged students to approach their
career decisions with confidence and careful consideration. The initiative reflects the
